Delhi burned and people died during riots even as President Trump was preparing to meet with CEO’s.

TV reporters were having a field day as they articulated their views using story telling techniques. I was wondering what is it that story telling does to us that we react differently compared to other forms of communication?
Neuoroscience research suggests that we respond differently to stories. Stories create an emotional connect to the subject matter as they engage us better & are easier to remember.
We have had our ears full every time a US President visited there have been problems, riots, deaths….stone throwing was witnessed from the roof top of an MP’s home,he started it all…police knew trouble was brewing from December 2019 but did nothing..,,a retired Top Police official cried hoarse that blaming the police is an old witch hunting strategy… why are Police not allowed to do their job without political interference…
One notices a familiar strategy..the blame game. No one focus’s on the reason leading to this horrific act of over 40 deaths..we seem to focus on whom to blame and not on what to prevent?
Our culture of blaming takes the least energy…personalise the problem and blame someone…weave a story for maximum effect. Diagnosis to find the root cause is far toughter and energy and time consuming. Blaming, no doubt provides the easy solution but there is a lasting issue..no one learns anything?
